The bright blues are hooded.  Brushing my hair to the side, he places a few kisses and a nip on my neck, making every nerve endings come alive. 



“Look at yourself in the mirror,” he commands. 
His white shirt hangs to my knees.  I’m dwarfed in it, but he’s right; I don’t think I’ve ever looked sexier, but I think it could be the constant flush on my face when I’m around Caston. 
His arms reach around and slowly he starts to unbutton the shirt, keeping his eyes locked on mine.  Once it’s open, he slowly pulls it down my shoulders and lets it fall to the floor.  His hands slide up my arms. Reaching my shoulders, he rubs small circles before sliding his hands down the front of me, cupping my breasts and rolling my nipples between his fingers. 
“Oh, Caston.”  My head falls back onto his shoulder. 
“Bre, I said to look at yourself in the mirror.” My eyes catch his again.  “Do you know how sexy you look standing here?” 
I shake my head, and he places a few kisses on my shoulder. 
“Let me tell you.” His voice is smooth and sultry.  It sends a shiver down my spine.
I look at him as his eyes rake up and down my body.  Just as I’m about to move to cover myself, his hands move down and rest on my hips, creating a tingling trail where his hands have been.
He places a kiss behind my ear.  “Where should I start, love?”

EXCERPT

If just looking at him took my breath away, I know his kisses could do much more. When his hand touches my cheek, my heart begins to race. I can’t do this. I can’t focus on doing my job if I’m distracted by this man. Slowly raising my hands, placing them on his chest I push him back.
“Do not block me in like that. You’re lucky I didn’t toss you across the room. I don’t like feeling as if I have no way out. That’s rule number two. Rule number three, don’t think we can ever be more than what we are now.” Smiling to myself as I walk towards the counter, I have an urge to put it between us. Needing the space to clear my head, Luke has me all hot and bothered. My brain isn’t working right now. All I can think of is riding him all night long, and that just isn’t an option if I want us to survive this.

“You should know I’ll fill you in on the rules as we go. There are so many I tend to only remember them as they’re appropriate.” My back still to him, I sigh. “Luke you have to leave, I have things I have to do
before we attack. I have to finish a lot more charms for you, decide whom I’m going to bring in to help and figure out what is going on. I can’t do that with you here.”

I hate hearing myself say those words but they had to be said, he has to leave. I turn around to find my shop empty. Well at least that was sorted out. Now to figure out the answers to all of my questions.
Why I lost control of my powers?
Why had those powers refused to return to me for a time?
How in the hell was I able to talk about the past with Shax?
How did I even know the things I said?
Why had my hair and eyes changed colors?
What did it all mean?
MEET ANGEE



I was born in Houston, Texas in 1977, to an interesting family. My mother and father separated when I was young. I lived with my mother who later remarried a wonderful man, who had a huge impact on me as I grew up. I have always had a love of reading, mostly paranormal. 

As a child, I would sneak up at late night when My mom thought she was sleeping, to read. We moved around a lot, eventually settling in Deep East Texas. I married at a young age and eventually divorced. I have raised my now 16 year old son alone. I work full time as a pre-hospital nurse and sometimes sees things that would make the rest of you have nightmares. On other days, I'm blessed to see miracles.

These things are what drive me to write.

I describes my job as- “I fight to save people’s lives. Sometimes I lose, sometimes I win. It's the emotional roller coaster of that job, which leads me to writing. I'm able to put those emotions into my characters and let them out of my heart and soul.”

In 2006, I was diagnosed with a rare disease, shortly after that I was told I would be on full disability in five years and most likely to be dead in ten. I've fought to live a normal life every day since and I'm beating those odds. I work at a demanding job, I'm a single mom, care for an elderly mother, and two hyperactive dogs.

On April 17, 2013 I faced another challenge in my life when my home was destroyed in the explosion in West, TX. I lost many friends and almost everything I own. Once again I have fought to get through it and I'm finally starting to feel normal again.
